Waiver
If you are making this booking on behalf of a group (any more than yourself), it is your responsibility to make all users aware of the information in this waiver, to ensure they agree, and to practice safe sauna use.
Please note no children under the age of 16 years old and pets can attend site - there is no safe place for your children or pets to wait unsupervised while you use the spa area.
Health & Medical

Anyone under the age of 18 using the sauna & hot tub must be accompanied by an adult on a 1:1 ratio. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use any part of the Spa area - this includes the hot tub, sauna and cold water.

All persons using the spa do so at their own risk. If you have any reservations regarding sauna & hot tub use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, history of dizziness or fainting, the use of prescription drugs, or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking. By agreeing to our waiver you understand the risks and have consulted with a medical professional. You understand and take full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing.

Anyone entering the sauna, hot tub & cold water assumes full responsibility of their medical / health condition, to include but not limited to, any medications the person may be taking which could result in a medical emergency or unsafe condition. All persons must know their own limitations and assumes all risks associated with any activities in which they may engage in while in The Outdoor Sauna or the surrounding premises.

All persons using the cold shower, drench bucket, or cold immersion pods do so at their own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you can handle being exposed to the cold temperatures.
General

Please shower before arriving.

Swimwear must be worn in the spa area at all times.

The Outdoor Sauna accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal belongings.

Smoking and e-cigarettes of any kind are not permitted in or around our facility. No glass containers or bottles are permitted at any time in our sauna.

Alcohol and drug use is strictly prohibited in the spa area. The Outdoor Sauna operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

By agreeing to this waiver, you acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in the use of the saunas, hot tubs and cold water immersion. You voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident or death, which may arise from the use of our facility. You hereby waive and release The Outdoor Sauna from any and all liability, past, present and future relating to spa sessions.

Please keep personal belongings to a minimum - The Outdoor Sauna accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of any belongings.
Using the spa

Please leave footwear outside the sauna & hot tub and plunge pools

Please sit on your towel in the sauna and wear swimwear whilst using our sauna and hot tub.

The operation of the wood burning stoves are STRICTLY for staff members of The Outdoor Sauna. Please do not touch the stove, stones or chimney.

Please only pour water on the stones from the bucket and ladle provided. Please do not add oils or anything else to the water.

Use caution when pouring on the stones as hot steam will rise and could burn your arm. You should start by pouring at the back of the stove and bringing the ladle forward so that your arm is never in contact with the steam.

Please respect other spa bathers. Any disorderly behaviour is not permitted and the spa operator reserves the right to remove disorderly users at any time.

Take care when moving in or outside the spa - be aware of wet or uneven surfaces. If you wish to walk outside with no shoes on to promote grounding, be mindful of sharp objects.

Please rinse yourself with the shower before entering the cold immersion pods.

Take care when entering/ using/ exiting the cold shower, drench bucket, and cold immersion pods.

In case of an emergency exit the spa & notify the operator immediately for further instructions.
Practicing Safe Sauna & Spa Use

Prolonged exposure to the sauna may cause your body to overheat. Limit yourself to a maximum of 15 minutes (depending on experience). We advise beginners to start with 3 - 5 minutes.

In the sauna there are benches on low and high levels. The high benches are much hotter than the lower, so place yourself according to your comfort level.

Exit immediately if nauseous, uncomfortable, dizzy or sleepy, and notify the member of staff on duty.

Do not use the spa if you have recently consumed alcohol, drugs or medications. Use the spa at your own risk.

Any metal in the sauna such as Jewellery and watches will retain heat and therefore is not suggested to bring into the sauna.

Stay hydrated before, during and after spa use.

Use the cold shower, drench bucket, or cold immersion pods with care. Take your time entering, and listen to your body.
